Squares!

Hey guys!

So I really like my little caveman design i've still got at the moment, so instead I painted a fake nail for you all! :)

Like most of my other designs I saw this and fell in love! I'm not really sure what to call it, a square thing?

I used Barry M Pink Flamingo, Barry M Turquoise, Nails Inc ATOMIC, Tesco All About Nails Poppy Red, and a very old green that has no labels or anything on it.

So instead of writing out the steps I did it in a picture collage! So much quicker and easier to do :)

If you've got any suggestions, or just want to chat pop up to us on twitter, tumblr or instagram; rrbeautyxo

Also we're not going to be posting everyday as we will run out ideas extremely fast, so it will most likely be about two or three times a week :)

Autumnal MAKE-UP Look!

Hey guys, so because it's getting colder here in the United Kingdom, I thought I would do a make-up look on a dark colour. So therefore I used barely any make-up on my eyes and used a dark lip colour! I hope you enjoy this look and keep reading!

What I used: Simple Soothing Facial Toner, Simple Hydrating Moisturiser, Simple Rapid Action Spot Zapper, Max Factor Colour Adapt in Natural (70), Rimmel London Concealer in Soft Honey (103), Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in Transparent (001), Rimmel London Soft Kohl eyeliner in Jet Black, Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara & Extra Super Lash Mascara, "17" Lipstick (not sure what the colour is called), Unbranded Eyeshadow Palette.

What I did to achieve this look:
Step 1: I applied my toner, moisturiser and spot zapper like I normally do.
Step 2: I then used a Classic Paddle Foundation Brush to apply my foundation all over my face.
Step 3: Using my concealer I applied it with a small flat brush underneath my eyes and over my spots.
Step 4: I used a powder brush to apply my Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder, to keep my foundation in place.
Step 5: I filled in my eyebrows using my unbranded eyeshadow palette with a brown colour, using a small flat brush.
Step 6: Now that my face is done, I proceed onto doing my eye make-up. I first line my eyelid with quite a thin line of black eyeliner, I would usually do my water line as well, but with this look I didn't.
Step 7: I then curled my lashes, and applied a coat of Lash Accelerator Mascara and then Extra Super Lash Mascara both in black, both by Rimmel London.
Step 8: I then applied the "17" lipstick over my lips to create the dark, sultry look.

I hope you enjoy this look just as much as I did doing it! I think it's great for Autumn and I'm definitely going to try this look out again for a night out. Tiny Triangles!

Hey everyone!

I have had the worst luck ever in these past two days! Yesterday I spent over four hours just concentrating on doing 5 nails! I saw this amazing design on YouTube (i'll try and find the link again and put it in the comments) I decided to try and give it a go, it was one of those finicky tiny detail designs and I found someone had used my nail art brushes and now they are dried out into different angles! So after spending an hour just trying to sort out on the brushes I started the design and finished it all, put the top coat on and went to bed. This morning I woke up and they were all completely smudged and smeared, I have never wanted to scream more than then!

So I gave up with it and did a different design instead, one a bit simpler! I can't remember where I saw the design, I should of taken note when I print screened it!

I really like it though, does it remind anyone else of like a caveman type of thing when they drew on the walls?

Ok so for this I used Rimmel London STRONGER Base Coat, Barry M Gelly Lychee, Barry M Gelly Pomegranate, Barry M Gelly Blueberry and Miss Sporty Black.

I don't really think you need a tutorial for this, looking at it, its pretty self explanatory, but we might be making a YouTube account soon, so I'll probably do a tutorial then :)

Review on SIMPLE RAPID ACTION SPOT ZAPPER!

Hey guys, so I thought I would do something different today, I'm going to do a review on one of my favourite products that I've had for such a long time now! The Simple Rapid Action Spot Zapper!

I purchased this item a while ago because when I get breakouts my spots become rashy and red and they stand out really bad, so it's unlucky for me :( However, this Spot Zapper is absolutely amazing! It is a roll on liquid that you roll on over your spots and they are nearly gone the next day! I apply it more than once over my spots a day because I want them to go as fast as possible!

It does say on the packaging, "Zaps spots in just 4 hours!" Which is exactly what it does! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who suffers from spots all the time, or even if you have great skin but randomly breakout with one, this will work!

You can purchase this item from:

  • Boots: £5.49
  • Superdrug: £5.49
  • Amazon: £4.00
  • Tesco: £5.00
  • The Health Counter.com: £3.97
As you can see it is more expensive if you buy it from a drugstore than if you were to buy it from a supermarket, but seriously this product will last you for over a year, depends how often you use it!

I hope you enjoyed my review of this product, if you'd like to see more reviews on a product, make sure to tag rrbeautyxo on twitter and instagram, also check out our tumblr page!

Get Ready With Me: Slightly Tousled/Curled Hair with Neutral Eyes and a POP of colour for the lips!

Hey everyone, it's Rosie again! I was just going to do a hair tutorial but my hair is so hard to handle when using products to give it volume and curl as it's just so straight it flattens easily :( Anyway, I tried to create a slightly tousled, curled hair look with neutral make-up but with a pop of colour for the lips, I hope you enjoy getting ready with me! :D

Products I used for my hair: Hairbrush, Salt Spray, Hairspray, Curling Iron, Heat Protection Spray, Batiste Dry Shampoo, Teasing Comb.
Products I used for my make-up:  Simple Soothing Facial Toner, Simple Hydrating Moisturiser, Simple Rapid Action Spot Zapper, Max Factor Colour Adapt in Natural (70), Rimmel London Concealer in Soft Honey (103), Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in Transparent (001), Unbranded Eyeshadow Palette, Rimmel London Blush in Santa Rose (001), Rimmel London Soft Kohl eyeliner in Jet Black, Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara & Extra Super Lash Mascara, a Pink Lipstick (sorry I don't know the brand name but I'm pretty sure you can get the same colour in the Rimmel London Kate Moss collection, or you can just match my lipstick to another one), Strawberry Lipbalm, Eyelash Curler.

How to achieve this look:
Hair:
Step 1: First of all I brushed through my hair, this is the day after I've washed it.
Step 2: I then flipped my hair over and sprayed the underneath with my dry shampoo, then in the roots of my hair on top, gently massaging that through.
Step 3: I then used a cheap Salt Spray from Superdrug that you can get for £2.99!!
Step 4: Sectioning off my hair I sprayed on the under layers of my hair and ran my fingers through it to create volume and a slight wave. I then repeated this all over the rest of my hair.
Step 5: I then sprayed my hair with Heat Protective Spray and curled random parts of my hair that I wanted to have more volume and wave.
Step 6: I then used "Exquisite Hairspray" from Superdrug and sprayed that all over my hair.
Step 7: If you then want to have even more volume, spray your hair with the Salt Spray again!
Step 8: Finally I used a teasing comb to lightly tease my hair where I've curled it.

Note: I personally have just started using Salt Spray for about a month, as my hair is very naturally straight I have to do a lot for it to have a wave and stay in that wave! Also I would say that Salt Spray makes your hair feel quite dry, but then I knew that would happen anyway because it's meant to create that beachy wave look! :)

Make-up:
Step 1: I first applied my toner all over my face.
Step 2: Next I used my moisturiser to hydrate my skin.
Step 3: I applied a Spot Zapper on my spots as they tend to become rashy and very red :(
Step 4: Applied my Max Factor foundation with a Classic Paddle brush all over my face.
Step 5: I then used my concealer underneath my eyes using a small flat brush.
Step 6: I covered my face with the Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder to hold my foundation in place.
Step 7: I used a small flat brush with a brown shadow from an unbranded eyeshadow palette to fill in my brows.
Step 8: Using my eyeliner I gently created a thin line just above my lash line to create quite a neutral look and as if I have no eyeliner on.
Step 9: I gently curled my lashes.
Step 10: Then applied a coat of the Lash Accelerator and then the Extra Super Lash Mascara.
Step 11: I used a blusher brush to gently sweep over my cheeks with the Rimmel London blush.
Step 12: Applying the strawberry lipbalm and then waiting a couple minutes, I then applied the Pink Lipstick.

I hope you enjoyed how I did this hair/make-up tutorial! If you have any more suggestions as to what I can do and what you'd like to see, then tag rrbeautyxo on instagram/twitter & also check out our tumblr page!

My EVERYDAY Make-up!

Hey guys, it's Rosie! Ok, so I was thinking of what to post and I thought about doing my every-day make-up that I wear to school! It's very simple as I don't have long to get ready, but here it is!

I used: Simple Soothing Facial Toner, Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser, Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation in Natural (70), Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder, An unbranded Eyeshadow Palette, Rimmel London Soft Kohl Eyeliner in Jet Black (061), Eyelash Curler, Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara, Rimmel London Extra Super Lash Mascara, Eyebrow Brush, Rimmel London Blush in Santa Rose (001), No7 Lipgloss (sorry it doesn't have a name), a Bright Pink Lipstick (don't know what brand, it doesn't say and I can't remember).

How I achieve my everyday look:
Step 1: First I apply my Toner using cotton wool all over my face.
Step 2: I then apply my moisturiser.
Step 3: Using my Max Factor foundation I apply it all over my face using a Classic Paddle Brush.
Step 4: I then apply my powder to set the foundation.
Step 5: I then use a eyebrow brush to brush through my brows to make sure they're in the right shape, I then use my unbranded palette of eyeshadows to fill in my brows with a small flat brush.
Step 6: I then apply my eyeliner across my eyelid and create a small flick.
Step 7: I then use a brown eyeshadow from my palette and apply that very lightly just below my bottom lash line.
Step 8: I then curl my lashes.
Step 9: Using the Lash Accelerator Mascara I use a couple coats just to fan out the lashes.
Step 10: I then use my second mascara the Rimmel London Extra Super Lash and apply as many coats as I think my lashes need until they are really long and look volumized.
Step 11: I use the second mascara lightly on my bottom lashes as well.
Step 12: Using the Santa Rose blush I lightly dust my cheeks with a blusher brush.
Step 13: I then used a Pink lipstick over my lips, then went over that with the No7 lipgloss just to give it some shine.

I hope you enjoy knowing how I do my everyday make-up! If you have any suggestions as to what make-up looks you'd like to see then tag rrbeautyxo on Twitter and Instagram and also check out our Tumblr page! I'd love to have some new ideas that you'd like to see so feel free to request something!

Nail Mail!

Hey guys Rebecca again!

So the other day, I had the best thing in the post. Nail strip tape! I have wanted these for so long! I see so many nail designs that use them now, that it had to be a must have! So I was looking online for ages trying to find the cheapest and I thought why not check eBay, and after waiting a month for them to arrive in the post I got twenty different colors! A bit overboard but paying £3 for all twenty and postage, BARGAIN!

The colors I got are: silver, gold, blue, rose red, green, purple, black, white, bright blue, red, copper, laser silver, laser golden, laser blue, laser red rose, laser green, laser bright red, laser coffee, laser pink and multicolored (which is my absolute favorite!)

Unfortunately I don't even think the best of camera's can actually focus on the tiny strip so your just going to have to put up with this photo!

I'm really looking forward to recreating some designs, and if you've got any ideas then please get into contact with us and we will try our best to do them! Our twitter, tumblr and instagram are all the same; rrbeautyxo      and I've even added the icons in the top right corner so you can all click the links and follow us? I spent an hour and a half doing them! Who knew that codes are hard!
